Company history
MTMT started as just a dream and a conversation piece in November 2006.  Two actors, one stage manager and a weirdo were standing out in a garage talking about their dream of starting a theatre company.  Several ideas were expressed and the idea grew into a plan. Eventually everyone went home and the plan fell into the trash can.

Then in May of 2007, Tammy, the stage manager, graduated from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and knew it was time to find a job.  After working at a call center for an out of town cable company, she realized that Theatre was her passion and it could not be suppressed.

Tammy asked several of her mentors and contacts what they thought would be the best way to start a theatre company.  After some reasearch she decided that it would be better to start with production in other cities and keep the base of operations in Colorado Springs. A change of market called for a change of name and The Moody School of Theatrical Arts was renamed the Moody Touring Mystery Theatre.

Performed at the Osborne Studio Theatre - UCCS

The debut show for the Moody is the longest running play ever.  The Mousetrap has been running in London for over 55 years.  The show was a huge success with 7 of the 8 performances sold out and many people coming back for a second or a third time.
